Trinity River SUP Expedition (new)

Price: $595/person
Includes: All meals, equipment, and camping gear
Location: Trinity River
Duration: 3 days

The Trinity River, located in Northern California, is the Klamath River's largest tributary. The Upper and Main forks of the Trinity have been popular with boaters for years, but we've got our sites set on the Lower Trinity as the perfect river for Stand Up Paddleboarding, or SUP.

The Lower Trinity's lush mountain setting is often overlooked by boaters seeking more challenging rapids, but the Class II whitewater is perfect for SUP enthusiasts looking to move past flat water. Boasting several wilderness sections and finishing with a spectacular run through the Weitchpec Gorge, Team Sundance will spend 3 days and 2 nights exploring this beautiful river.

You'll paddle over 30 miles on this scenic stretch with support rafts to transport your overnight gear. Each evening will be spent at a riverside campsite where Team Sundance will prepare delectable dinners and big breakfasts to power you though the next day's paddle. With stunning spots for hikes and afternoon swims, you will have 3 days full of play!

Whoa, this is like rollerblading gone wrong!

Stand Up Paddleboarding is a sport that takes some getting used to. Walking on water isn't exactly second nature. But thanks to our instructors experience and your perseverance, you'll be tackling rapids before you know it.

Okay, this isn't that bad...

Once you get your balance down, we'll start in on the finer details and show you how to read the river to give you the experience you're seeking. Whether you're confident or still cautious, our experienced instructors will be with you every step (or paddle stroke) of the way.

This is officially awesome!

Seriously, this sport is fantastic. The learning curve may seem steep but once you're up and going, you'll revel in being so close to the river, feeling your whole body move with the water. But don't take our word for it, this is definitely something you have to experience on your own.
